Decided to try increasing Movement values for shipping in the Pacific e-file. In the past I've tried to mess once or twice with the equipment editor without any salvageable result. This time it seems things went differently. It seems I managed to increase the values for all shipping to two and a half times (a tiny bit more for Submarines because I slightly fouled the math when doing it for the first one). The only negative aspect is having to auto scroll out of the original bit of visible map. But I have noticed no significant delays, it's just the normal "drag" of having to scroll out.
Purchase screen displays the new values but all already existent ships in PTO match 3 remained with the original values. So, those I have been changing via F12 each time I need to move them.
Makes me wonder about more changes. Maybe increase also naval Max Fuel, possibly just the bigger types. Very likely increase air Movement.
I should definitely put my dromedary rider to use but that will need adding the animal to the icon sheet besides creating a new unit record...

In a second batch I increased the air Movement values also by a factor of two and a half. In a few cases they move almost up to their Max Fuel limit - the red hexes are there to warn of the danger.
Additionally I increased most of the naval Max Fuel values. 500 for Battleship 400 for Cruiser, Carrier and Transport 300 for Destroyer and Submarine 180 for the PT types that have 60 from origin. There are one or two smaller types with 200 and those I left as they were.
Finally I tried something more complicated: to add a Submarine model to Sumatra. Something did come out of it but that was something that runtimed the Purchase Board.
Aha! After a few more tossings and turnings I managed to "intrude" the US Submarine unit 530 in the "Basic.eqs" and now Sumatra - and probably many other countries may purchase the thing...

I too have been messing with the Pacific equipment file ! Yes, the basic.eqs file is used if a nation has NO specific .eqs file. (Like Sumatra.eqs...which does not exist.) Which folder this file is in is sort of tricky too... "C:\pgx\Pacific_1939\equipment\basic.eqs" It uses the 'Pacific_1939' folder because pacific1941.scn file has a 'module' named... pacific1941.map pacific1941.bmp Pacific1941.oob weather, clear ground conditions, dry weather zone, variable Politics, true Scenarion type, 1 pacific_1939 (Where to get the equipment files....otherwise use default) I think I tried to get this to be able use different equipment files without having to install them especially to run certain scenarios. I think the Konzev, and BoW scenarios run...using their own equipment files without having to install them over the defaults.

I would like to get a spread sheet with all the unit info started.... I think I have started a few over the years, but never really finished any of them. Example... Inside Europe_1939 folder there are a few xlsx and csv by Class for: Infantry Fighter Tactical Bomber Strategic Air Command (?) (literally title is "sac") And a "pgxeqp.csv". with 456 entries.
