Playing a game as both the italians and soviets (no alliance)- attacking neutral countries, and letting the allies fight each other.
So far the game is running very smoothly, and the crashing is far far less frequent than v770 and lower now. Which is great.
R&D upgrades seem to be less frequent now, and most of the useless upgrades seem to be fixed. The only useless upgrade I've seen that still remains was +1 to bombing for fighters. I don't think that stat has any meaning for fighter units does it? (Or does it?)
I'll keep updating as the game goes along.
BUG NOTES: Ships are still losing -1 to speed as if they are damaged when they gain a level of experience. units still not always moving one space when embarked on rails. It seems to work sometimes, but not always.

Rail bug clarification for 771: OK, so i figured out that if there is an empty rail hex and you try to move 1 hex, there is a bug where the unit will not move, but if the hex is occupied, the unit will move 1 hex via rail.
I've run about 60 turns of 771 so far, and it seems to be running pretty smooth. The memory leak is also greatly improved.
Is it possible to get R&D upgrades for infantry? I have yet to see that at all.

Just got an odd bug.
A 1 strength anti tank gun that had just retreated under fire into an empty hex had a "rugged defense" with zero entrenchment after a follow up attack was launched.
Unless i am mistaken a rugged defense can only occur when a defending unit is entrenched. Is that the case?
