In the custom E file I have made, which I will be forwarding to Teo, I have units for the major combatants that go up to the early 1950s era, so using my Efile, within the constraints of the map (obviously the map is WWII nations, not post war), it should now be possible to play out Soviet vs NATO scenarios.
I'm having a bit of difficulty creating scenarios though.
When I create the scenario with the unit editor (F12 key), it creates 2 files. Do i need to create a new folder in the SCN folder of PGX for them, or can i just drop them in the Europe folder? Because when I drop them in the Europe folder for some reason the resources I set don't seem to take hold, and I have to manually adjust them on turn one.
What am I doing wrong?

The two new files should be copied to the SCENARIO folder. They are the .scn file and the .oob file. The .scn file should contain the names of the map file to use, weather options, etc. The .oob file ...make sure unit names do not contain a "," that will mess stuff up. (I found out the hard way a couple days ago.) Here is the Konzev .scn file europe.map - which map europe.bmp - name of that map's bitmap or zoom map. europe_konzev.oob - name of this scenario's .oob file (unit and country info.) weather, clear ground conditions, dry weather zone, desert - this probably should be 'moderate' for europe. Politics, true Scenario Type,1 - bigmap. 0=smallmap, 2=world map Konzev - name of scenario
If you have any problems feel free to email me with the .scn and .oob files attached. I'll check them out. (jcrouch@utk.edu)
