Not exactly terrain tiles, the fx2 is a strip of 9 visual aid superimposing hexes. 1. red hexagon ring - hexes damaged by Level Bomber fire. 2. bullet - units not having fired 3. "spent" bullet - units already fired 4. blue arrow - units not having moved 5. "spent" arrow - units already moved 6. yellow hexagon ring - hexes in condition to supply (I believe) 7. crosshairs - the attack cursor 8. blue hexagon ring - indicates selected unit 9. extraction tower - hexes that are oil sources This custom fx2 and the necessary "shadow" file fx2m affect only points 1 and 7. 1. fills the red hexagon ring with a bunch of brown circles depicting bomb craters. 7. replaces stock crosshairs with a Tiger tank's crosshairs. Contrary to the change in 1. that of 7. is just for show... Both bmp format files go inside the "BMP" folder of the game. You may want to rename or relocate the original fx2 and fx2m files in order to save them prior to copying the custom ones in. fx2.bmp (79.15 KB) fx2m.bmp (79.15 KB)
